Thursday, February 29th marked anothe magical night as Monarch Madness returned to the San Jose Civic, and the 33rd edition did not disappoint. The "Greatest Night to be a Monarch" left students, faculty, and families alike feeling the true power of what it means to be a member of the Archbishop Mitty community. From the opening production of "La La Land " to the class dances, games, and another exceptional ROAR competition, the evening was filled with tangible excitement, competition, and community. As students sang this year’s liturgical theme song, "Carry Me With You" by Brandi Carlile, the event lived up to its billing.
The Class of 2024 came away with their 2nd consecutive victory, and its name will be engraved on the school trophy. Monarch Madness XXXIII once again showcased that the entire Archbishop Mitty community can come together and celebrate all of its members and the gifts God has given each of us.
