The women’s softball program has taken home 16 sectional banners over the years, which is more than any other program in CCS history. In 2009, the Monarchs won the National Championship after going 32-0. Alumnae of the program have gone on to play softball for Team USA and professionally. The program offers varsity and junior varsity teams.
During high school, Coach Megan Yocke ’07 helped the Monarchs to 4 WCAL and 3 CCS championships. She went on to play softball for the University of Kentucky and holds top career records for the Wildcats in 10 categories including: RBI’s, batting average, walks, homeruns, stolen bases, and putouts. Coach Yocke also has a master’s degree in kinesiology and sports management from San Jose State University. In the past, she worked with the Athletics Department at Stanford University.
