The Monarchs advanced to the CCS Playoffs this Fall, making the program’s first appearance in the Open Division. The season was also highlighted by a tournament championship. The program offers varsity and junior varsity teams.
Coach Vierra has over 19 years of coaching experience and has led the Mitty Boys Water Polo program to its first two CCS Championships and its first ever appearance in the CCS Open Division. He was the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program Pacific Zone head coach for over 5 years, where his team won a National Championship and he was named top coach of the tournament. Coach Vierra has also coached a variety of club teams and is currently a director at the San Jose Water Polo Foundation.
