Latanya “LT” Hilton describes herself as a Bay tree with Southern roots. She was simultaneously raised as a daughter of the deep south and a student of the iconic social justice movements that were birthed in the Bay Area. Throughout her career, she’s helped raise over $30 million to support education and non-profit organizations that focus on the advancement of equity and justice.
As the current President of Archbishop Mitty High School, she is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the school’s general operations, including financial management, fundraising, ongoing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, public relations and facilities. Throughout her career, she's learned the importance of trusting your people, demonstrating compassionate leadership, making decisive yet diļ¬icult decisions, and most importantly, prioritizing health and family. She loves to sing, dance and write, and brings her creativity into her leadership style and approach. Her personal mission is to inspire and motivate others by sharing her journey of personal and professional growth, committing herself to life-long learning and living life to the fullest.
Latanya is a 1992 graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School and a dual graduate of Santa Clara University, earning a B.S.C. in Marketing and an MBA in Leading People & Organizations. She currently serves as a member of the Santa Clara University Board of Regents and the Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators.
