FOR FAMILIES WHO HAVE AN EXISTING SUMMER REGISTRATION ACCOUNT- REQUIRED TO UPDATE STUDENT INFO FOR CURRENT SUMMER

If you have an existing summer registration account, before making a summer class registration this year, we ask you first go directly to Edit Student Info upon your initial log in to update your student's details. Update your student's details by making sure the student ID# is correct and then select "Next" on the page. This action will assure the correct available programs load for you at your current grade level for this summer.  If in a previous summer you did not enter a student ID# when registering, it would be important to do so this year to permit Mitty Monarch classes, any approved academic classes, and any pre-approved financial aid from the business office to become available during the registration process.

Note: While in your registration account, selecting 'Next" on the Edit Student Info page will update your summer account using your student ID# by pulling both student and parent data from the Mitty school database- however, the data will only save in your registration account if a purchase is made during the same registration session.

Registration receipts will be emailed to the parent-one email address in your registration account.

IMPORTANT: If you have been pre-approved to take an academic course this summer, review both the "PRE-APPROVED STUDENT REGISTRATION" and the "ACADEMIC PROGRAM POLICY" sections below prior to registering.

FOR NEW REGISTRATION ACCOUNTS- CREATE AN ACCOUNT

In order to register for our Summer Program, you will need to create a Summer Program Registration Account.  The process for creating a Registration Account takes less than 15 seconds and requires only an email address and password.  Upon entering an email and password, you will be required to open your email and confirm your account login before continuing to create your account.  For best user experience with our registration system, we recommend that you use the most up-to-date version of your preferred web browser (chrome, safari, firefox, etc.) and not a smartphone.

Once your Summer Program Registration Account has been created, Add a Student by entering the student’s Name and student ID # as a first step (incoming freshman class ID#s are issued and communicated sometime between 3/31 and 4/12)IMPORTANT: If you have been pre-approved to take an academic course this summer, review both the "PRE-APPROVED STUDENT REGISTRATION" and the "ACADEMIC PROGRAM POLICY" sections below prior to registering.

If you do not enter a student ID#, you can complete registrations however, entering a student ID# will permit Mitty Monarch classes, any approved academic classes, and any pre-approved financial aid from the business office to become available during the registration process. After completing your registration, if you had chosen to make the registration without using a Mitty ID# (possibly because you had not yet received your ID#), please contact our office once you have the ID# and we can update your student profile on your behalf.

PRE-APPROVED STUDENT REGISTRATION to include remediating students

The Summer Program will hold spots for all Mitty students approved to register until their designated deadline as outlined above.  If a student has been approved for a class by the Administration (remediating) or Department Chair (advancing), the class is reserved for the student and can be found in the student’s ‘shopping cart once a summer registration account has been created entering the student's ID#.  Seats will be held until the registration deadline. After that date, the class can no longer be guaranteed for purchase.

Pre-approved academic Book Scholars can pick-up their required textbook prior to leaving campus at the end of the regular school year, or on the first day of class from the Summer Program office.  All other students should reference the summer textbook list for textbook purchase information.  If remediating a course, it is necessary to reference the textbook list to confirm whether or not a textbook purchase is required.

If an approved AMHS student determines he or she will not be registering or will not be able to adhere to our Summer Program Attendance Policy, the student should contact the Summer Program (summer@mitty.com) in writing via email (Cc their counselor) prior April 4, 2024 in order to declare their non intent.

For any questions regarding Academic Program registration and textbook information, please contact summer@mitty.com or visit the Summer Program webpage.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM POLICY

All pre-approved summer academic students should review the strict summer attendance policy prior to registering.  The policy is outlined on the summer Academic Program Policies page.  Students not meeting the attendance policy will not receive transcript credit for the course.

Additionally, in accordance with Archbishop Mitty High School Summer School policy, AMHS students, including incoming freshmen, may not register to take a class through our Academic Program in the summer in lieu of the regular school year unless pre-approved by the Department Chair(s) and/or school Administration.

Summer Program general policies can be found here.

MITTY MONARCH PROGRAM OPTION

Our Summer Program offers enrichment classes in Community Service, English, Life Skills, Science, and Sports Medicine exclusively for current and incoming AMHS students throughout the summer. These classes are only available to AMHS students with a valid Mitty student ID# entered on the Edit Student Info page of their summer registration account.  Once registration opens in mid April, classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  If a class choice is not available in our registration system, then it has reached capacity.  No wait list is available.  A Mitty Monarch class may be dropped and a refund issued up until the Monday of the week prior to the first day (one full week in advance).
