The Monarchs ran strong this year with the men’s and women’s teams both advancing to the CCS Championship. At the state level, one Monarch runner finished in the top ten. The program offers varsity, junior varsity, sophomore, and freshman teams.
Coach Olein has 13 years of coaching experience in both cross country and track & field. Prior to joining the coaching staff at Archbishop Mitty two, he spent 10 years as the head coach of both cross country and track & field at Lawrence Academy as well as 4 years as the PSAL Cross Country League Commissioner.
